Our services

Much of the work we do is to help out our fellow neighbor. We have been involved in many community causes here in Great Falls and beyond.

Some of the work we have done extends beyond our local community into the international stage.

We have worked on many projects for our community.

What are people saying about Interact?

“The Rotary Club of Great Falls – and the Great Falls community at large – is very proud of the exemplary leadership and commitment to Service Above Self demonstrated by these youth,”

Andy Klaff Executive Managing Director @Newmark Grubb Knight Frank

“I’ve seen firsthand the amazing work that the Interact Club has been doing for years. Helping many non-profits, hosting fundraisers, doing free car washes and many more projects in the name of the service above-self motto that Rotary instills in us all. I personally look forward to seeing the Interact Club continue to grow and accomplish many more things both locally and globally.”

Drazen Alcocer CEO @ Delta Strategist

“The Interacters were relentless in their house-building! They are an impressive team of hard working teens dedicated to helping others. For me personally, watching them work together to accomplish so much over 3 days was one of the top highlights of my lifelong Rotary experiences.”

Jeff Thinnes CEO @ JTI Inc.

About us

Who We Are and What We Do:

The Great Falls Interact Rotary Club was established in 2012 by a group of middle schoolers in search of a way to give back to their community.  The club has since grown to become a group of high school students in Great Falls who come together for that same purpose.

Through the years, the club has explored many different types of fundraising as well as gotten involved with multiple organizations around the state of Virginia.  Starting with Hess’ Helpers in 2012, our group members first learned about domestic service projects that can really make a difference. We worked together to sell shoe laces to raise money and awareness for a local coach’s daughter who was very sick.  As the club has grown, we have expanded our reach to other areas of Virginia and beyond. We have done numerous fundraisers to help the people of Tela, Honduras. We raised money that was used to build desks for students and rebuild parts of their school building that had been destroyed.

For the past two summers a group of our club members have spent three days working in the hot July sun with Habitat for Humanity in Lynchburg, VA. This is the organization that we are currently raising money for and we plan to take as many of our group members as possible to participate for a third summer of service.
We have monthly meetings which is a long standing tradition in the rotary club, during which we plan future fundraisers and discuss current events in the area that we want to be a part of.

The Great Falls Interact Rotary club is always happy to welcome new high school members and we hope that anyone who is interested will come and find out more about our organization!

You do not have to live in Great Falls to be a member or to participate in activities! We are only called “Great Falls” Interact because we generally operate in that area.
